1. Platform and scope
RatesLab provides educational finance content, interactive scenario simulations and hypothetical investment analytics. The website may include public tools, invite-only Simulation Lab accounts, an Advisor Workspace and downloadable or printable reports.
These interim terms describe the conditions for using the RatesLab platform. The legal operator's registered name and address will be added when verified. Questions can be directed through the official channel used for your account invitation or other RatesLab communication.
2. Not investment advice or a financial service
No content constitutes personalised investment advice, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell a security, an investment recommendation, discretionary portfolio management, a trading mandate or an executable quotation. RatesLab does not accept orders or execute trades through the public site. A simulation account is not a brokerage or custody account and does not hold real money or securities.
Nothing on the platform establishes an advisor–client, fiduciary or regulated investment-management relationship. Users and professional advisors remain responsible for their own independent analysis, suitability reviews and compliance with applicable laws.
3. Models, prices and reporting
Published returns, mark-to-market paths, drawdowns, volatility, Sharpe-type ratios, collateral carry, model comparison and roll-versus-hold outcomes are illustrative and subject to methodology, assumptions and data quality. They can be wrong, incomplete, stale or materially different from actual market results.
Any generated investment illustration, simulation NAV record, or PDF is hypothetical. It is not an independently verified fund record, a trading statement, audited performance, a guaranteed yield or evidence of an actual investment.
See the Simulation & Model Risk Disclosure for important limitations.
4. Account access and responsibilities
Account functions are available only to invited users with valid credentials. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, keep your devices secure, and promptly notify the operator if you suspect unauthorised use. RatesLab may limit or suspend access to protect security, comply with law or investigate misuse.
Users must not attempt to bypass access restrictions; interfere with availability; submit malicious content; scrape private services without authorisation; or copy, reverse-engineer or redistribute confidential pricing inputs or proprietary model components except where permitted by applicable law.
5. Intellectual property and permitted use
RatesLab content, branding, page design and proprietary models are subject to applicable intellectual-property rights. Subject to lawful rights, users receive a limited, non-exclusive right to access authorised features for their intended educational and internal evaluation purposes. Publication of outputs does not grant access to private trading methods, underlying source code or unlicensed third-party market data.
6. Third-party services and availability
Service delivery depends on independent infrastructure, market information providers and external networks. RatesLab may correct, remove, suspend or change tools or published results where necessary, including to address errors, security vulnerabilities or market-data limitations. Availability and uninterrupted access are not guaranteed.
7. Privacy
Use of the service is described in the Privacy Notice and Cookie & Browser Storage Notice. Users should not enter sensitive third-party information into optional advisor notes or client-reference fields.
8. Liability and legal protections
Users must independently verify information before making any financial or operational decision. To the extent permitted by the law that ultimately governs these terms, RatesLab does not warrant that hypothetical outputs are accurate, complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or statutory protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The operator's registered address, applicable governing law, complaint and dispute-handling details, and any paid-service terms will be added or confirmed in a future revision. Nothing here limits mandatory legal rights.
9. Updates
These terms may be updated as services evolve. Material revisions should be prominently dated and communicated where required. A separate written agreement takes priority for any institutionally contracted or paid service to the extent it expressly overrides these general terms.
